Fall Days

Happy November! This month, I’ve been enjoying the crisp, sunny weather and beautiful fall foliage all around NYC.

As soon as the leaves begin to change, there’s only one place to be: Central Park. With the varying types of trees and the incredible array of warm colors, Central Park reveals its autumn magic. Despite the chill, a quintessential stroll around Central Park should make any fall bucket list. Warm up afterwards with fresh cookies from Levain bakery.

My favorite parts of Central Park are around the lake. The trees seem undisturbed, the water so calm, and the boats romantic. In a place like this, you easily forget the bustling streets minutes away.

As a desert rat, I never experienced a real fall growing up, so my adult self takes full advantage of the scenery now. Especially because I cannot tolerate winter, I need to be outside while I can!

And of course, I can’t enjoy anytime being outside without taking the pup. Here, Ruby is looking ~fine~ in these golden leaves that coat the path of Central Park’s mall.

I should add that Central park isn’t the only place to find a beautiful fall backdrop. You can also check out Washington Square Park’s colors, complete with its not-yet-shut-off-for-winter fountain and an ever-moving piano to serenade you.
